We train people for the broadcast, corporate, institutional, and entrepreneurial sector in television production, video editing, computer graphics, interactive applications, multi-track audio, broadcast engineering, scriptwriting, and a host of other specialties.

Developing Skills for Success

Video Technology classes are conducted in a hands-on setting that will prepare you for your future career. Labs and equipment include the most current technology similar to what you'll find in the workplace.

Our all-digital studio facility offers a four-camera digital television studio, 27-inch iMac computers for editing and production, high-definition field production cameras and six editing suites for audio production, video post-production and graphics work.

Located in the heart of Irving and Las Colinas, North Lake College is close to a number of companies in the video and film industry with numerous internship and job opportunities. Students participate in single camera film style and live multi-camera studio and remote productions, individual and group productions, and learn in the classroom and through on-the-job training.
