Patrick Caster

Patrick Caster is a 40-year veteran of the video production industry. He began teaching at North Lake in 2013 and has taught video studio production and multi-camera field production at another area college since 2007. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Art degree in digital filmmaking and video production from the Art Institute of Dallas.  

A corporate and broadcast television producer in the DFW and San Francisco Bay areas, he served as editor on an Emmy award-winning documentary and was nominated for a regional Emmy for his editing work. Having managed production facilities in Texas and in California, his production work has taken him throughout the U.S. and to Ireland, Thailand, Malaysia, North Korea, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean. 

He teaches Video Engineering.
