Our associate degree program provides a comprehensive foundation to enter the video production or television broadcast arena, including:
CareerOneStop, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor, projects job growth increase of 30 percent for video and film editors; 21 percent for audio and video equipment technicians; and 17 percent for sound engineering technicians through 2024 in Texas.
Located in the heart of Irving and Las Colinas, North Lake College is close to a number of companies in the video and film industry with numerous internship and job opportunities. Students participate in single camera film style and live multi-camera studio and remote productions, individual and group productions, and learn in the classroom and through on-the-job training.
