Sharing Life Outreach's primary goal is to come
alongside individuals and families who need help obtaining the basic
necessities of life. The organization offers community members a food
pantry, clothes closet, utility assistance and gas cards.
nonprofit also offers educational programs to enrich the lives and
future of its clients. And that's where El Centro College comes in.
2014, with support from the United Way, El Centro added stackable
credentials for nurse aide students to continue their health career
pathway to include EKG and phlebotomy training. This additional training
allowed Sharing Life clients like Keyuna Carter to qualify for work as
a patient care technician.
