You've requested a transcript, but you have no idea if or when it was sent out. Did your university receive it? You want updates and you haven't been able to get them ... that's about to change!
The Dallas County Community Colleges are making changes to transcript processing so you have more access and control when you need to send a transcript from one of our colleges.
The first phase of these improvements will be available Feb. 11 and will allow you to request trackable paper transcripts through eConnect for just $5 each. DCCCD has partnered with Credential Solutions LLC to print and mail transcripts. If you request a paper transcript, you will be redirected from eConnect to the Credentials Solutions website.
This service will allow you to track your transcript's progress from order to delivery. You can even request a text alert when your transcript has arrived at its destination. You can order transcripts any time of day or night, and you'll have access to additional customer service hours beyond when the colleges are open.
You will even be able to order online and have your transcript printed and mailed when we're closed for holidays. Convenient, right?
Need to attach a document — like a résumé or an application — to your transcript? You can do that, too! You can request to pick up the paper transcript at the college if you don't want it mailed. All for only $5 per printed transcript!
Want to send your transcript electronically? You can also do that. Currently, the colleges of DCCCD can send electronic transcripts to more than 120 institutions using the SPEEDE service and will continue to send transcripts in this manner. This also means all electronically delivered transcripts are free!
