Register early and set up your college credit classes through the end of 2019 when priority registration opens on April 23.
We're going to walk you through everything you need to know to make registration go as smoothly as possible.
First, please register as early as you can — that way you have a better chance of getting the courses you want before they fill up.
Once you make sure you're
eligible to register online, you can go through the
browsable class schedule to find the courses you want to take during Maymester, Summer and Fall semesters.
If you're not eligible to register on eConnect, you can go to one of our
main college campuses or some community campuses to register. (Important: If you want to register at a community campus, contact them first to make sure registration is offered there.) Keep in mind, DCCCD colleges and administrative buildings are closed on May 27 for the Memorial Day holiday.
Remember to keep prerequisite requirements in mind when you're registering for classes. You won't be able to register for certain courses if you haven't taken prerequisite courses, which usually serve as introductory courses. You can find that information in the browsable class schedule.
Not sure if a class you want is full? The browsable class schedule will give you that information too! If a course has a caution icon, the class is full. If not, you're good to go!
For credit classes, the date your tuition will be due depends on when you register. Register early to get the best selection of courses. If you register for Flex Term classes, your tuition is due before the class starts.
We've got you covered on when, where and who you need to pay.
Don't have time for regular courses? Consider taking
Flex Term classes!
Flex Term classes offer you more flexibility with your schedule because you can register throughout the year. The classes also all vary in length and how often the class meets. If that sounds like it fits your schedule, check out the
browsable class schedule.
Keep these dates in mind as you start planning your schedule for Maymester, the Summer semesters and the Fall.
