The mission of the Dallas County Community College District Police Department is to provide quality law enforcement services to the public and foster a relationship with the college community that will support the academic success of our students and enhance the quality of life on campus. DCCCD PD is committed to providing a welcoming, accessible, safe and secure educational environment for students, faculty and staff through strong community partnership, transparency and fair and impartial policing.
The Dallas County Community College District Police Department (DCCCD PD) plays a vital role in serving and protecting more than 70,000 students and approximately 7,500 employees. With seven colleges and more than sixteen locations, our police force works continuously to build a community of trust through partnerships, transparency, fair and impartial policing. The members of the DCCCD Police Department are professionals who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals we serve.
Over the past year, the district has increased its commitment to the safety of the colleges and representation in the community. Our department has supported our neighborhoods by participating in events such as "Coffee With a Cop," assisting at food shelters and joining in service events to honor fallen police officers. We have also invested in equipment, increased
training opportunities and
promoted individuals to lead this newly rebranded department. Due to these efforts, the department is working to continuously grow by making sure our officers are involved in professional development activities, public safety/awareness
training and receive proper acknowledgment for their hard work. This year and next year, our goal is to accomplish three objectives and your support is needed.
We have created various sponsorship opportunities where your organization can participate and support our department in carrying out the commission to "Educate, Honor and Remember." Please review the sponsorship opportunities listed on the next page, and we hope that your organization will join with us as we fulfill our goal for the 2018-2019 year for the Dallas County Community College District Police Department.
